SCHOOL FUNDING DEBATE

Last month's County Mayor Debate was a HUGE success.

The 2008 General Election Ballot includes three amendments relating to school funding that would greatly eliminate school property taxes for a higher sales tax and other revenue. As with any ballot issue, there is much controversy surrounding the proposals.

INVITED SPEAKER

SENATOR MIKE HARIDOPOLOS

We have invited SENATOR MIKE HARIDOPOLOS to express his opposition to the Amendments. He has established a series of debates to discuss the proposals (http://blogs.tampabay.com/buzz/2008/07/haridopolos-set.html).

We are inviting those who favor the amendments as well.
